The Quality Assurance Department verifies in-process and finished goods items are in compliance with specifications and cGMP requirements.

Completeness and accuracy in the execution of all tasks (inspection and documentation) is essential for regulatory compliance and positive customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect, test and sample in-process, WIP, final and finished goods according to approved specifications following established work practices, SOPs, FDA and cGMP regulations.

Conducts smell analysis, visual inspections, measurements and functional tests to determine product conformance. Generate QA Reports / Records summarizing inspection and test results.

Detect problems and notify appropriate personnel of item non-conformance. Perform product containment on suspect ware. Properly tags all non-conforming and suspect material and / or parts.

Assist with the investigation of line failures. Audit product after sort / rework and report final results.

Maintains documentation (drawings, procedures, forms, reports, etc.) utilized for inspection and assures that they are current, accurate and complete.

Complete and maintain all QA documentation in accordance with established procedures and work practices. Closes out OTC Orders.

Participate in QA Department cross-training program, including but not limited to Receiving Inspection and Document Control.

Analyze QA data and provide summarization reports.

Deliver samples and support line trials and product validations as needed
