MISSION for IE / IR SPECIALIST

EDvance College is seeking a part-time IE / IR Specialist to support the college's mission through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role will be responsible for analyzing institutional data, preparing reports for internal and external audiences, and building dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and student achievement outcomes.

The specialist will also design and implement surveys to gather feedback and assess program effectiveness, contributing to the overall improvement of academic and operational processes.

This is a flexible part-time position, ideal for candidates who are passionate about leveraging data to enhance educational outcomes and institutional performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Systems and Structures
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Collect, analyze, and report data related to student outcomes, program performance, and institutional effectiveness to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Dashboard Development : Create and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key metrics and achievement outcomes.
  • Survey Design & Implementation : Develop and administer surveys to evaluate institutional performance and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Institutional Effectiveness : Support efforts to measure and improve student success by aligning data with institutional goals, including tracking Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs).

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field (e.g., computer science, data science, information systems, social science, educational research, statistics, or a closely related field) preferred.
  • Four (4) years relevant experience in an IE / IR or data analysis role.
  • Experience building data systems and structures, designing surveys, analyzing and reporting data, and data collection.
  • Proficiency in building and managing data dashboards (e.g., using Qualtrics, Quickbase, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools and methodologies for measuring student and program outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
