Job Description
- Responsibilities :
- Data Collection and Processing :
- Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Clean and preprocess raw data to prepare it for analysis.
- Data Analysis :
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use statistical methods and tools to interpret data and draw conclusions.
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms.
- Data Visualization :
- Create clear and compelling visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Design and generate reports to present analytical results.
- Reporting and Presentations :
- Prepare and deliver reports to management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Data Quality Assurance :
- Monitor and ensure the quality and integrity of data used for analysis.
- Identify and address any data inconsistencies or errors.
- Database Management :
- Work with databases to extract, transform, and load data.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Collaboration :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and goals.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
- Meet with stakeholders to understand their needs and brainstorm solutions.
Qualifications
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Compensation & Benefits Details
- An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, ability, knowledge of the job, performance, contribution, results, geographic location, shift, internal and external equity, and business and organizational needs.
- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.
This range may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
