The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities to expand the reach and impact of our existing products and products we might not even know about.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market analysis, customer needs, and competitive positioning.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, market research, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new market opportunities for existing products.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enter new markets and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and execution of market entry strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present business cases, market entry plans, and financial projections to senior management.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of new market initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging markets, and competitive activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, market analysis, or strategic planning.
  • Proven success in identifying and entering new markets within a product portfolio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Ability to think long-term and develop strategies that align with company goals.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
