Creative hospitality brand is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our boutique downtown hotel to provide an exceptional guest experience that reflects our unique qualities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel management, with a passion for delivering high-quality service through hands on training and driving revenue growth through all sales channels.

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, guest relations, revenue and expense management, room cleaning, building maintenance, and security.

The Hotel Manager will also collaborate with management operating the F&B spaces to help drive performance goals and protecting the Hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, guest relations, and night audit.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of hotel staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of service and hospitality.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Implement and optimize departmental SOPs to elevate the performance across all hotel facets.
  • Strategically align sales and marketing initiatives to enrich the essence of the lifestyle brand and supports achieving RevPAR goals.
  • Manage the hotel's budget and ensure all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with the front desk team to ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations and standards.
  • Manage and maintain the hotel's phone systems and other technology.
  • Provide leadership and support to all hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality management and guest relations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Experience with hotel phone systems and other technology.
  • Multilingual is a plus, with a strong understanding of diverse cultures and languages.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in hotel management or hospitality management is an asset.
