We’re seeking another motivated, experienced paralegal to support our business and civil litigation team in person at our Midtown Atlanta office.
We practice business, entertainment, probate and family law.

Compensation- $50,000 - $60,000 / yr based on experience in our practice areas, plus merit bonus
Compensation :

Responsibilities :
- Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions
- Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits
- Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems
- Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
Without having to be trained, tasks the hired candidate must have ready-to-go experience in :
- Calendar management - not just setting up appointments
- Following up on answers, documents, and things needed from others.
- Setting up Zoom and Conference Calls
- Setting up and closing files AND subfiles on Dropbox and our CRM
- Onboarding new clients and returning clients
- Problem-solving with understandable communication skills.
Qualifications :
- Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
- Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired
- At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with legal billing software and case management software
