JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for yard compliance to NOV policies and procedures such as, but not limited to HSE and HR
- Responsible for yard compliance with the Tuboscope Threading Quality Manual requirements
- Part inspection and auditing of operator inspections per applicable quality system, licensing agency, or customer requirements.
- Complete inspection reports.
- Audit operators' first article and inspection reports.
- Complete understanding of the inspection program.
- Complete non-conformance reports and communicate status to applicable management.
- Aid with and audit facility production paperwork as required.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience with mechanical inspection preferred but not required
- Ability to solve basic math equations
- Must be able to learn and operate mechanical testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and scales.
- Blueprint reading skills are preferred but not required.
- Maintain code 70 certification
- Manage ordering and customer authorizations for proprietary items
- Able to perform acceptance inspection on material purchased by the facility
