Accounts Receivable Analyst

Vaco Boston has partnered with a leading Real Estate Company in the Newton area. Currently, the finance and accounting team is looking to bring on a proven Accounts Receivables Analyst to support the group.

Responsibilities :

Process daily cash applications from lockbox and monthly ACH direct debit for 30+

properties.

• Charge up properties rent roll charges every first of the month
• Prepare monthly closing reports for property management and Accountants.
• Responsible for answering billing inquires and research account history.
• Processed 5000+ payments monthly across approximately 30 properties, including EFTs and lockboxes
• Apply various charges to owners’ accounts
• Assist with questions and concerns
• Assist with other accounting and miscellaneous job related duties as needed.
• Generate statements for delinquent owners

Skills :

• 1+ years experience in an AR related position required
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proven accuracy, dependability and timeliness
• Strong accounting computer skills and knowledge of commonly used accounting concepts.
