Kinect is seeking a highly skilled and certified Cyber Security Administrator to join our clients team, a leading food services supplier with locations in Edina, MN, West Fargo, ND, and Naperville, IL.
This hybrid role requires the candidate to be onsite for 10 days a month, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the time.
As a Cyber Security Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's information systems and data.
You will work closely with IT and business teams to identify potential security threats, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement security solutions for new and existing systems.
- Respond to security incidents and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies. Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Administrator or similar role.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or similar (or achieve within one year of employment).
- Strong understanding of security protocols, principles, and practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and encryption solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Preferred Skills :
- Experience in the food services or supply chain industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and technologies.
