The RoleThis role is ideal for an individual passionate about marketing-focused design. You will work directly with our clients, helping them to design and refine their digital presence, including email marketing, their website, and paid and organic social.
This is also an opportunity to help shape our business as we grow and develop new offerings. The role is best suited to a natural collaborator who is adept at managing their own workflow while working across multiple time-sensitive projects.
ResponsibilitiesDesign digital assets for Wingo’s clients, including, but not limited to, collateral for email, paid marketing, web and organic social.
Manage the day-to-day workflow of design projects in accordance with client timelines, communicating necessary timeline adjustments as needed.
Edit and create video assets, with an emphasis on creating optimized social-first video content.Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Associate to build campaign landing pages and / or assist on larger web design projects.
Create internal and client-facing design timelines for design projects, from ideation through final reporting.Present proposed designs in client meetings, providing rationale and performance insights driving design decisions.
Create internal and external design templates and assets.Own, with oversight from the marketing director, content creation and posting for Wingo NYC social channels and email.
In collaboration with the team, prepare campaign performance reports that highlight key insights about creative with optimization recommendations for future campaigns.
Assist team with web updates, email scheduling, and digital campaigns as needed.QualificationsProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
Detail-oriented approach, both for design products and client communication.Adept at project management, both for personal tasks and shared projects.
A passion for learning new skills and finding design-focused solutions.An interest in the nonprofit space, social justice, and advocacy.
A keen eye for visual culture and awareness of emerging digital trends.1-3 years experience in marketing, design, communications, project management or relevant fieldExperience with email marketing platforms Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.
Experience working with website platforms Wordpress, Wix, SquarespaceProficient with Google Suite or Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ideal candidate : An eye for design graphic design, UX, systems / infrastructure design, etcComfortable in a fast-paced environmentImpeccable eye for detailExcellent customer service / client engagement skillsSelf-starter, takes initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesPassion for social justice and furthering the missions of nonprofit organizationsExperience working with nonprofit organizationsHours and CompensationHours : Monday - Friday 10 AM to 6 PM (option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays)The starting annual salary range for this position based in our New York City Office is $50,000 to $55,000, depending on experience.
Benefits include 15 days paid time off plus additional end-of-year office closure days, five sick days, $550 per month towards health insurance, and access to dental and vision insurance, commuter discounts, 401(k) and more.
