Access Control and Camera Technician

Qualifications :

Must have a background in the installation and troubleshooting of Access Control Systems and Camera Systems.

Attention to detail and quality of work

Certifications and / or formal training in any of the following items is a Plus (Bicsi).

Experience installing and terminating Fiber Optic cable.

Ability to read blueprints and / or schematics.

Stable work history, professionalism, and dependability

Outstanding customer service skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills; adept at utilizing resources and finding solutions
  • Occasional heavy lifting

Ability to work with other technical personnel for collaborative problem solving

Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities Required :

2+ years experience working in a commercial, residential and / or industrial environment.

2+ years Experience pulling and / or terminating Cat 5 / 5e, Cat 6 / 6e, Fiber Optic or Coax cable

2+ years Skills for terminating and dressing distribution frames (66 and / or 110 blocks, patch panels, etc)

2+ years Experience using digital multi-meters, toning and / or testing cable

2+ years Ability to troubleshoot any issues with the network

You must be able to pass a background and reference checks.

You must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license.

Own you own basic hand tools.

Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
