Job Description

Beltservice Corporation is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Lightweight Product Specialist to drive sales and develop strong product knowledge throughout South-Central United States (Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama).

This role involves building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers to expand accounts and gain new business.

40-50% overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet / exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned area.
• Serve as a point-person for the Lightweight program, embodying Beltservice's Core Values, and mission.
• Identify and pursue direct OEM opportunities, building strong relationships with new and existing distributors.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and understand market conditions.
• Assist in evaluating new products and eliminating underperforming products.
• Collaborate with the geographic sales team, Plant Managers, Corporate Product Group Managers, and Sales / Operation Management to deliver high-quality customer experiences and technical training.
• Work with technical teams in Carmichaels, PA, and St. Louis, MO, providing expertise on fabrication and product customization.
• Actively participate in Sales L10 Meetings.
• Provide voice of customer feedback to the Business Unit Leadership Team.
• Utilize CRM in line with Standard Work for CRM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of inside or outside sales experience preferred, but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong time management skills and self-motivation.
• Willingness to travel overnight 40-50% of the time.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of product assembly / fabrication and the conveyor belt industry.
• Understanding of the market, customer base, competition, and products in the assigned territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
