Position Summary : CCA partners with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide supportive temporary emergency shelter to families under the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities' Emergency Assistance program.
Our shelter program is part of the Commonwealth's response to a rapidly growing number of unhoused families, including thousands of families migrating from Haiti due to natural disasters and civil unrest.
CCA and our partners provide linguistically and culturally appropriate case management and nurse triage support, supporting families with housing navigation services and connection to jobs, health care, schools, daycare, immigration legal aid etc.
The Housing Navigation Manager, Family Emergency Shelters, leads a team of housing navigators for the family emergency shelter program, designing and collaboratively implementing housing navigation initiatives to ensure the rapid re-housing of families.
The Housing Navigation Manager, together with the Site Managers, is responsible for ensuring a high volume of families efficiently moved to long-term housing, meeting program targets.
The Housing Navigation Manager will serve as an expert leader for all housing navigation initiatives, including development and execution of standardized onboarding and training, policies and procedures, facilitating the sharing of best practices, and managing performance across sites

What You'll Be Doing
Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Lead the design and implementation of housing navigation initiatives to ensure the rapid re-housing of families at CCA's family shelter sites across Massachusetts.
- Directly supervise a team of housing navigators supporting family shelter sites
- Trainings : lead the design of staff trainings on housing navigation resources and approaches, and oversee the delivery of trainings, by housing navigators, for case managers, at shelter sites
- Performance management : Lead the design of a performance management program for housing navigation efforts across CCA's shelter sites, ensuring that goals are met or exceeded, amplifying and documenting best practices, ensuring the capture of accurate timely data, and driving initiatives to ensure continuous performance improvement.
- Data and reporting : Regularly review and present programmatic data related to housing navigation, ensuring that all family shelter leadership are aware of goals and actual performance throughout each month.
Proactively work with site leadership to ensure compliance with program requirements (eg Rehousing Plans in the Commonwealth's online ETO portal) as well as to capture, review and ensure accuracy of data in CCA's internal databases.
Consult on specific cases : Support and oversee the expert consultantation of housing navigators on a high volume of specific family cases, ensuring they successfully partner with Site Managers and individual case managers and families to troubleshoot complex cases and essure efficient resolution.

Working Conditions :
Work will be on-site at family emergency shelter locations across Massachusetts, with occasional travel to other sites and some remote work.
