Perricone Farms is a citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida. We are looking to hire a Production Manager (3rd Shift) to join our team! • Pay Rate : $70 - $80K annually
• Shift / Hours : 3rd Shift (Monday Friday @ 11pm - 7 : 30am, plus weekend rotation)

A Production Manager directs and coordinates safe activities of a shift which include extraction, drumming, bottling, and packaging personally and through subordinate leads to ensure quality products are being produced within a timely and cost-effective manner while complying with all state and federal regulations for a food safe product.

It is envisioned that this position will require the individual to perform the duties for the most part in the production areas with limited office time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Be an ongoing advocate for both Food & Employee Safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate for both Federal and State guidelines (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.)
• Oversee activities including processing, packaging, and shipping of all plant products.
• Monitor the progress of the daily production plan to ensure timeliness, accuracy of orders, and efficiency.
• Following customer product specification guidelines to ensure the production of a quality product.
• Execute the daily plan by leading and directing operational activities through direct supervision and provide appropriate feedback to employees, as necessary.
• Develop a work environment within production that promotes safety, trust, teamwork, and quality and assigns accountability.
• Ensure staff are appropriately trained in their department to include understanding of their job responsibilities safe operation of tools and machinery and proper usage of PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff on an ongoing basis and disciplinary action as needed. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in manufacturing engineering; AND two years’ experience in the juice processing industry or related experience and / or training;

OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Verifiable supervisory experience is required.
• Proven track record for driving results while maintaining the safety and quality of both employees and products.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
