About The Signatry
The Signatry is a donor advised fund (DAF) sponsor, but we are more importantly a Christian ministry seeking to build the kingdom of God by inspiring world-changing generosity.
The Signatry believes generosity is the heart of the gospel, and this drives us to equip people to lead generous lives that reflect the image of God.
By God's grace, we can work together through prayer and generosity to solve the world's greatest problems and spread the hope of the gospel to all.
Donor advised funds are the primary tools we use for this kingdom work.
Position Description
Helping to fulfill the primary mission of The Signatry in facilitating revolutionary biblical generosity to provide financial support to nonprofit organizations and churches, the Research Specialist assists the Nonprofit Success team in preserving the standards for approving grant recipients to ensure legal IRS compliance and adherence to the biblical values of The Signatry.
The Nonprofit Research Specialist enjoys multi-tasking and working with a team yet is also is an independent problem-solver.
This position is ideal for a well-organized person with close attention to detail, yet keeps the big picture in mind and understands the critical role their work with nonprofits plays in helping solve the world's greatest problems.
Primary Responsibilities
Conducts research and vetting efforts on new nonprofits in a timely, efficient manner to serve donors well while confirming alignment with IRS guidelines and The Signatry's core biblical values.
Communicates with nonprofits timely and in accordance with the legal and operational requirements of a donor-advised fund (DAF) sponsoring organization.
Documentation and management of Recipient Reviews for escalation to Review Committee.
Maintains close communication and collaboration with Senior Manager, Nonprofit Success, regarding vetting and research in the spirit of continual improvement.
In collaboration with other members of the Nonprofit Success team, serves as back-up to contact nonprofits to acquire banking information needed for secure ACH disbursement of grants to the nonprofit.
Management of Nonprofit Success Standard Operating Procedures documents.
Utilize The Signatry's CRM (HubSpot) solution and DAF platform to manage recipient communication records.
Cross train with Client Engagement Specialist role to assist with Nonprofit Success tasks as deemed necessary by Senior Manager.
Builds rapport and relationship with nonprofit gift processing departments.
Fulfills additional duties as necessary and assigned by Senior Manager.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 2 years" experience in a customer-focused or operations role, preferably in a highly-regulated field legal, financial, or medical industries.
Experience in donor advised fund grants processing preferred, or a strong interest in contributing to the success of charitable, faith-based missions and the donors that support them.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and other cloud-based software in an Apple environment.
Proactive, adaptable, with grace under pressure and a continuous learning mindset.
Solutions-based approach to problem-solving.
High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Work Location This full-time, salary position can be based in our corporate office in Overland Park, KS in a hybrid in-office / WFH setting;
