Key Responsibilities :
Design Leadership : Oversee and ensure the accuracy and application of facility engineering services, interpreting and applying all relevant codes, standards, and calculations.
Project Management : Take responsibility for the design efforts on specific projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Team Supervision : Supervise and assign design tasks to staff, mentor team members, and conduct staff reviews. Assist with staffing and resource allocation as needed.
Technical Oversight : Provide technical design reviews and quality control for current projects, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Reporting : Provide regular reports on project budgets, schedules, and any related issues to keep stakeholders informed and projects on track.
Requirements :
Education : BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the A / E industry.
Licensing : PE License (preferred in CT).
Technical Skills : Proficient in AutoCAD, building design software, technical writing, and basic business communications.
Client Relations : Strong ability to manage client relationships and support marketing efforts.
Travel : Willingness to travel for project-related activities (5-10%).
