SUMMARY OF POSITION
The National Account Manager I (NAM) is responsible for the management and coordination of regional accounts within Shurtape Technologies’ Brands.
Key areas of focus include customer relationships, generating sales revenue and profits, and management of independent manufacturer's representatives as well as internal sales support functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 3+ years selling experience preferably consumer products.
- Strong analytical, management and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
- Proven success in working independently.
- Ability to travel 35%.

- Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and talking on the phone

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for Region’s P&L and sustainable growth.
- Increase distribution of Company products via existing and new account distribution.
- In support of Company goals and objectives, and in tandem with Product Managers and other stakeholders, annually develop product placement and promotional strategies for key customers.
- Develop and foster strong relationships with key customers within area of responsibility.
- Direct corporate sales calls and management of relationships at major big box retailers.
- Will work extensively with key customer’s portals, systems, programs, databases as required.
- Collaborate and develop accurate region forecasts in support of key customer business initiatives using Company systems to properly communicate region’s product requirements.
- Consistently review with Customer Care, Logistics, and Account Receivables, the necessary requirements needed to provide world class service to region’s customers.
- Understand, evaluate and articulate key business insights, consumer shopping patterns and opportunities to drive growth through analysis.
- Communicate industry and competitive news to the Company.
- If required, manage independent sales representatives assigned to region’s accounts including but not limited to, annual agency goal setting, joint customer HQ calls, and annual evaluations.
