We offer :
- Starting salary of $70,000 to $90,000 with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus. Compensation is commensurate with experience

This is primarily a remote position with monthly in-person team meetings at our Chicago headquarters or company events in the Chicagoland area.
Our office is near O'Hare in Triangle Plaza, within walking distance from the CTA Blue Line. The position does require some travel to attend industry events and trade shows.

The Role
The Client Services Department is responsible for matching families to the best resource for them to ensure their success across generations.
As a Client Success Specialist, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential client families.
The ideal candidate understands how to identify solutions, can listen well, empathize and build trust with prospects, and genuinely wants to build connections with other people.
The Client Success Specialist will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads through various methods, including outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
You will also work closely with the Client Services and Marketing departments to expand our reach of connecting with business-owning families.
Responsibilities :
- Be the firm’s first impression with clients and partners; demonstrate FBCG’s professionalism, culture, and client-service approach from the first interaction and throughout the sales process
- Produce and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects by following up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and conducting outbound prospecting activities (cold calling, email outreach, and other sales activities)
- Nurture prospects over time, discover needs, offer relevant resources, and learn where they are in the decision process to advance opportunities in the sales cycle
- Utilize targeted and insightful questions to speak knowledgeably with decision makers, provide content and product / service information, and work with prospects to explain how FBCG’s services can address their challenges
- Maintain strong knowledge of the organization's products and / or services
- Conduct research to understand client needs, pain points, and buying behaviors to determine if FBCG’s services are a good fit for the family
- Collaborate with client services and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to build firm awareness and serve more enterprising families.
- Provide ongoing support to client services department throughout the sales process
- Attend industry events and trade shows to serve as an FBCG ambassador and build relationships
- Provide regular updates and reports to the client services team and management
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in Salesforce
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (liberal arts a plus)
- Five or more (5+) years of experience in a consultative sales role
- Professional services firm experience
- Business and sales acumen
- Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and other sales tools
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends a plus
