Order Desk Coordinator I

We are looking for a full-time, experienced and self-motivated Order Desk Coordinator to join our Customer Care Team to support the manual entry of sales orders and ensure seamless order processing.

This role involves interfacing with internal customers to answer routine questions, clarify orders, and provide exceptional customer service.

Additionally, the Order Desk Coordinator will contribute to process improvements and support cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Be available to Hampton’s customers during business hours.
  • Review orders received by phone or fax to ensure accurate pricing, part numbers, shipping and terms.
  • Manually enter orders into Hampton’s ERP system.
  • Route complete orders to production or shipping as needed.
  • Follow up on order status as needed to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Manage order correction activities such as address changes, missing shipments and miss-shipments.
  • Process sample orders for internal customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments and own leader to improve processes as needed.
  • Ensure the highest level of consumer satisfaction by providing excellent service and following Hampton’s and Hampton Care’s mission and value statements.

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be organized, results driven and self-directed.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs, specifically Outlook, Excel, D3FO, and Word.
