A Maintenance Technician job is available with our service client located in Fayetteville, TN. This person will function as one of the Senior Technicians at the customer site for a long-term maintenance contract.
Must have AGV (Automated Guidance Vehicle) knowledge.
Night Shift from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM. Monday - Friday.
Key responsibilities :
- Repair and maintenance of AGVs including calibrating sensors, component adjustment / replacement, component lubrication, hydraulics troubleshooting, etc.
- Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry (5V to 480V).
- Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Troubleshoot AGV problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
- Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
- Performs complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
- Provide assistance with training customers to operate equipment.
- Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.
Qualifications :
- HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training / certification preferred.
- 3+ years of Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings / schematics, and control panels.
- Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems.
- Some experience with DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications is a plus.
- Must be able to evaluate and analyze, Semi-complex system / equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend resolution of design-performance issues.
