- Perform maintenance work on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and mechanical systems in residential apartment units located in Pittsburgh, PA
- Respond promptly to service calls from residents and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Interact in a polite and professional manner with tenants, vendors, contractors, and colleagues
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks in vacant apartments for unit turnovers and preparations
- Carry out various preventive maintenance procedures to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Be available for on-call and after-hour emergency maintenance requests and work orders
- Maintain the grounds of the community to uphold its appearance and functionality
- Conduct painting and wall touch-up tasks as needed
- Perform carpet cleaning duties as part of the maintenance responsibilities Qualifications :
- Must have the ability to conveniently commute to and from the workplace
- Must be available for a flexible on-call schedule covering morning, afternoon, and evening service calls at apartment properties throughout the week
- A valid driver's license is required
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Proficiency in using email, text, and phone communications is essential Compensation : $19 - $22 hourly
