Position SummaryIn this role, you will be working as an entry level helper in a weld and fabrication department. You will be using power tools, such as saws, grinders, deburring tools etc to assist the skilled welders and fabricators.
The ultimate goal is to train you to become a welder and fabricator.Position Responsibilities
- Sweeping and general house keeping to designated work area
- Using saws, grinders, deburring tools to clean up metal parts
- Fetching materials as needed to assist skilled tradesmen
Minimum Requirements
- Experience using saws, grinders
- Experience working with metal
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, etc
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
