We are currently looking for anexperienced Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team. This positioninvolves the operation of a machine that spreads and levels hot mixasphalt on highways and streets by performing the following duties.

Perform preshift inspection ofmachinery per Company Guidelines and manufacturersspecifications.

Comply with operating safetyrules and regulations.

Fill in daily inspectionreports.

Coordinate with the mechanic toreport any problem with the operation of the assignedequipment.

May oil grease or otherwiseservice and make necessary adjustments to equipment asneeded.

When not performing the aboveessential duties and responsibilities may assist in otheroperations as designated by thesupervisor.

Requirements

Heres What Youll Need :

Must be committed to providingand promoting a safe workenvironment.

Knowledge of asphalt paving bestpractices.

Knowledge of compaction testingand temperature requirements

Must display a courteous andprofessional attitude when dealing with coworkers and thepublic.

The willingness to work extendedhours with possible night and / or weekend work as well asovernights.

Be punctual and dependable becapable of lifting 50 pounds and work in the sun most of theday.

A valid driver s license and avalid hoisting license.

High school diploma / equivalent.

Key JobResponsibilities : Work in an environment in compliance with allBrox safety policies and procedures Properly follow all companypolicies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures andenvironment.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designatedoperations and production areas as stated by OSHA and / or MSHACommunicate safety and equipment information to Plant ManagerParticipate in toolbox talks with co-workers and supervisorsDisplay a professional and courteous attitude to customers,drivers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public Acceptanceof other responsibilities and duties as necessary Qualifications : High school graduate or equivalent and valid driver s license.

Experience preferred but willing to train. Work Environment : Outdoor-in and out of vehicle. High elevations & confinedspaces.
