Summary Statement : The Representative, Accounts Receivable is responsible for a variety of accounts receivable functions within the daily operations including, but not limited to collections, billing, audits, as well as customer service and guest inquiries.
The Representative supports the Manager, Accounts Receivable and functions as part of the Finance Team. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices and procedures.
Primary Job Duties- Includes but not limited to : Communicate directly with guest and credit card processors in order to resolve disputes.
Prepare and send email and / or upload general billing to guests and wholesalers. Pursue collections of past due accounts.
Process travel agent commissions in preparation for payment to travel agents (TA). Research and respond to customer / guest inquiries.
Help rectify any billing disputes between internal departments and guest. Maintain up to date information and comments on all client accounts.
Ensure documentation is accurate, thorough and focused on detail. Process and allocate credit card charges / refunds for guest inquires, disputes and skips.
Use personal device / cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Includes but not limited to : Ability to work varied shifts, including holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example Word, Excel).
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
Preferred : Working knowledge of Oracle database. Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience : At least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum six months Accounts Receivable experience in a similar or related field. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations : Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
