Hiring a Medical Records Clerk!
We are currently hiring a Medical Records Clerk!
Location : Farmington, NM 87401
Pay : $17.50 - $26 / hour DOE
Hours : M-F / 6 : 30am 3 : 00pm
Day to day :
- Retrieving documents from electronic health records and saving to a CD
- Distributing work created from Radiology imaging, if requested
- Ensure valid authorization is present
- Reviewing the request for verification that it meets client and legal requirements for release
- Reviews the requests to determine which records are being requested
- Notifying client or requestor if the request is not compliant with defined requirements
- Identifying what needs to be released in accordance with requests
- Certifies the copies of medical records when requested
- Prepares copies of mailing
- Maintains confidentiality by keeping all patient and medical information seen and heard in the facility in the strictest confidence
- Maintains productivity, quality and assures customer service standards
Requirements :
- Medical Record experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can work in high volume environments
