Line Cook

The Anchorage Marriott Downtown Hotel is looking for a Line Cook to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity with potential for growth and personal development within the Hotel industry.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The hotel has a full-service restaurant, bar, room service, concierge lounge, exercise room, indoor pool, and more than 10,000 sq.

ft of functional event space.

Duties include :

• Responsible for the Preparation of Food "To Order" for the Hotel Restaurant.
• Ensures Consistent Quality.
• Must Be Detail Oriented, Work Well in a Team Environment, and enjoy serving Customers in a Positive, Friendly, and Courteous Manner.
• Responsible for the preparation of food "to order" for the hotel restaurant and ensuring consistent quality. You must be detail-oriented, work well in a team environment, and enjoy serving customers in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Cooking Experience.
• Must Be Proficient at All Stations.
• Ability to Multitask.
• Able to do Repetitive Work.
• Able to Prepare Food According to Food Handler's Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Cooking Procedures.
• Knowledge of Kitchen Equipment.
• Knowledge of Where and How Everything is Stored.
• Label and Date ALL Food Stored & Rotate Food as Needed.
• Ability to Lift 50 Pounds.
• Able to Work All Shifts and Holidays.
• Be Able to Self-Motivate in a Work Environment.
• Able to Follow Written or Verbal Instructions.
