As a Cook 2 / 3 at Alyeska Resort, you play a key role in our culinary team. You will assist in preparing and serving food, ensuring quality, safety, and a positive dining experience.

This is an entry-level position that offers you the opportunity to learn and grow in the culinary world.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook complete meals, considering guest allergies and preferences.
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet our high standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Assist with the implementation of new menus and ensure standardized production.
  • Inspect, report, and correct safety hazards to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment.
  • Prepare food items according to quality, technique, quantity control, and presentation standards established by the Executive Chef.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 2-4 years or more of related cooking experience, preferred. (for cook 2 position)
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards for a safe work environment.
