Salary $55,000 - $58,000 (Monday - Friday)
Requirements A bachelor's degree in athletic training, must be board and CPR certified, possess a South Caroline Athletic Training State Licensure, and have 1+ years of athletic training experience in a school setting
Assistant Athletic Trainer Job Responsibilities
- Prevent, evaluate, manage, and rehabilitate injuries.
- Work independently alongside the head athletic trainer.
- Care for all athletes on an appointment basis during the school day.
- Care after school and on weekends will alternate between staff.
- Effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and families.
- Maintain student-athlete medical history and notes.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Compile team rosters.
- Complete athletic eligibility checks for each season.
- Coordinate physical exams and screenings.
- Assist in hosting athletic events.
