Location : On-Site in Bedford, MA This Role : As a Medical Billing Representative at LogixHealth, you will work independently to provide cutting-edge solutions that will directly improve business operations.
You’ll contribute to our fast-paced, collaborative environment and will bring your expertise to review and audit processing, posting, refunds and adjustments for all transactions within the Cash Management department.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and third-party billing experience.
Key Responsibilities : Identifies, reviews, and interprets third party payments daily Analyzes unresolved third party and Self-pay accounts, initiating contacts resolution (internal and external) to ensure timely resolution Work insurance overpayments, credits, and undistributed balances;
works directly with the Billing Team to resolve issues and denials through research and assigned projects Establishes relationships and maintains open communication with third party payor representatives to resolve claims issues Review / Audit insurance credit balance for takebacks / refund initiation / or repayment, LHI Daily Refund logs, LHI Self Pay adjustments delinquent third-party accounts, and Zero Pays / Offsets for processing and accuracy Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Responsibility satisfactorily.
