Job Overview : Robinsons Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to join our esteemed team.
The ATP will play a crucial role in providing complex rehabilitation services for individuals using wheelchairs. This position involves performing thorough assessments, preparing detailed reports, providing training, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective use of assistive technology devices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assistive technology assessments for individuals with disabilities.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation based on assessments.
- Provide training to individuals and service providers on specific assistive technology (AT) devices.
- Assemble and customize assistive technology devices, including seating and positioning systems, in consultation with physicians.
- Evaluate the fit, function, and workmanship of AT devices on patients.
- Collaborate with other agencies to inform consumers and service providers about new policies, procedures, regulations and types of assistive technology.
- Oversee sales, marketing, evaluations, order processing, quoting of equipment, documentation, verification, and delivery of Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) services.
- Manage orders and ensure timely communication with coworkers, clients, therapists, and physicians.
- Work closely with Care Coordinators, Technicians, and Billers to complete each order.
- Be a collaborative member of a team that has a primary focus of meeting and exceeding the needs of those we serve.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Assistive Technology Professional or similar role.
- Strong understanding of complex rehabilitation technology and assistive devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality service to individuals with disabilities.
