IS Support Specialist

Position Description :

Provides liaison duties associated with the ongoing support and maintenance of clinical and non-clinical computer information systems at ARMC.

Serves as a liaison between ARMC departments, Information Systems, physicians and Corporate Information Systems Department.

Job Duties :

• Develops and executes test plans to ensure system performance and integration.
• Administers application access and security. Inactivate terminated users from system.
• Provides leadership in application development for improved usage of the system.
• Effectively works with end-users to understand their technology specific requirements and finds ways to leverage technology to meet their needs.
• Performs routine system monitoring and updates documentation in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• Associate’s degree in Nursing or Information Systems (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 3 years of hospital clinical experience.
• Knowledge of computers as well as documentation required as mandated by ARMC and TJC; Ability to conduct group presentations at meetings and in training classes.
