IS Support Specialist
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities.
Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia.
Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.
Position Description :
Provides liaison duties associated with the ongoing support and maintenance of clinical and non-clinical computer information systems at ARMC.
Serves as a liaison between ARMC departments, Information Systems, physicians and Corporate Information Systems Department.
Job Duties :
- Develops and executes test plans to ensure system performance and integration.
- Administers application access and security. Inactivate terminated users from system.
- Provides leadership in application development for improved usage of the system.
- Effectively works with end-users to understand their technology specific requirements and finds ways to leverage technology to meet their needs.
- Performs routine system monitoring and updates documentation in a timely fashion.
