LHH is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to find a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role involves providing excellent customer service and billing expertise, ensuring proper invoice formats and accurate pricing.
The specialist will perform account analysis and maintenance to keep customer accounts receivable balances accurate and will also handle necessary account reconciliations and collections duties.
Key Responsibilities :
Account Reconciliation : Reconcile customer accounts receivable details and initiate account adjustments to ensure proper balances are maintained and general ledger revenue is recognized.
Payment Application : Ensure payments are applied correctly and proper documentation is maintained.
Issue Resolution : Resolve accounts receivable issues with customers by initiating appropriate calls and letters.
Invoice Review : Review invoice data before release to ensure correct invoicing per customer specifications and contract terms.
Communication : Inform the manager of potential issues that may result in customer dissatisfaction or overdue status.
Adjustments : Process necessary adjustments promptly to maintain well-maintained accounts.
Collections : Follow collection processes and procedures and recommend accounts be suspended to minimize the risk of revenue loss.
Customer Support : Assist internal and external customers with questions concerning billing, revenue, general ledger, services, contracts, and additional services.
Timely Turnaround : Maintain timely turnaround for adjustments, customer requests, phone messages, emails, etc.
Vendor and Branch Communication : Communicate with vendors and branches to resolve problems.
New Account Setup : Set up new accounts, check credit references, and send welcome letters.
Collection Calls : Make collection calls and process credit memos.
Invoice Management : Run invoices and check and release credit hold orders.
General Ledger Balancing : Balance general ledger accounts.
Administrative Duties : Filing and answering telephones.
Aging Goal : Maintain an aging goal of less than 60 days on all accounts.
