About the Role

Global Trade Compliance IT Business Analyst will support the global trade compliance team by developing and implementing IT solutions to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

This role requires collaboration with various departments, including legal, logistics, finance, and IT, to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

Your awareness of trade compliance laws and regulations, meticulous review of documentation and identification of discrepancies, also having proficiency in data management and analysis will allow you to design IT solutions that ensure compliance and that the solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems (e.

g., ERP, CRM). Additional responsibilities include execution and monitoring of international trade compliance initiatives and activities set by our Trade Compliance team and supporting improved compliance across the organization while delivering results through analysis of trade data, using experience with U.

S. and international product classification, knowledge of trade regulations, and a strong collaboration with functional leaders and teams across the company.

You will act as a liaison between the trade compliance team, IT department, and other business units. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of compliance requirements.

Proficiency with Oracle, ACE, and other GTM solutions to better understand supply chain concepts related to importing and exporting.

Knowledge of Descartes OCR system configurations and end user's processes with the OCR platform is highly desired.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare software development life cycle deliverables, such as functional specifications, design documents and test cases
• Prepare testable requirements (user stories) and use cases
• Participate in release planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning, demos and other Agile Scrum related meetings
• Researches, analyzes technology that solves business problems and supports improvement opportunities
• Analyze, document, and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications around data mining and data sets
• Work with IS / IT Product Managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the need
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data, workflow and / or functionality
• Ensures that best practices and common technology solutions are effectively applied across sites, value streams, and businesses.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-7 years of related IT experience
• Desired proficiency with Microsoft products, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Fusion, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Automation tools (RPA or Bots).
• Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) or similar certification preferred
• Experience with Oracle GTM, or other trade compliance software
