Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Digital Investment Strategist.

Where you'll be working : Knoxville or Atlanta office.

The Strategist - Digital Investments will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive maximum return on investment (ROI) for our clients.

This role requires a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, market trends, and consumer behavior. The ideal candidate will combine analytical prowess with strategic thinking to develop impactful campaigns and optimize digital investments.

What you'll be doing :

Strategy Development : Develop data-driven digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives, target audience, and market trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies integrate seamlessly with overall marketing initiatives.

  • Digital Advertising Planning : Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify target audience segments, optimal digital channels, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaign success.
  • Budget Allocation : Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to determine digital advertising budgets and allocate funds effectively across various channels and tactics.
  • Campaign Optimization : Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and identify optimization opportunities to enhance ROI and achieve campaign goals.

Implement A / B testing and other optimization techniques to improve campaign effectiveness.

Industry Insights : Stay up to date with the latest digital advertising trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Leverage this knowledge to provide strategic recommendations and innovative ideas for client campaigns.

Client Collaboration : Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, and serving as a trusted advisor in all digital marketing matters.

Regularly communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to clients in a clear and compelling manner.

Reporting and Analysis : Generate insightful reports and leverage dashboards to track campaign performance, identify trends, and communicate results to internal teams and clients.

Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.

Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the digital investments team.

What you bring :

Experience : 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or media planning, with a focus on strategic planning and digital investments.

Agency experience is preferred.

Digital Advertising Expertise : Knowledge of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic advertising platforms, and other relevant tools.

Familiarity with data management platforms (DMPs) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.

  • Strategic Thinking : Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals and target audience behavior
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain complex digital marketing concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Leadership Abilities : Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Market Awareness : Keen understanding of digital marketing trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments. Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
  • Adaptability and Agility : Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
