Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 21 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Candidates must have 24 semester credit hours in accounting, auditing, and / or taxation courses.
Duties Description Duties included, but are not limited to :
- Perform periodic review of on-site field reviews by staff.
- Review and update as necessary all policies and procedures within the unit.
- Prepare training modules to address agency questions and concerns.
- Work with OGS Real Estate and the Business Services Center to ensure consistency among the Asset Management Facility and Property databases.
- Review all preliminary site visit findings.
- Develop a risk assessment process.
- Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
- Review and approve annual site visit plan.
- Annual review of Asset Management Reports prior to submission to the Office of the State Comptroller.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Operating Needs :
- Travel may be required (approximately 5%), including during evening and weekends, depending on assignment.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required, or otherwise demonstrate the capacity to meet the transportation needs of the job.
