Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 21 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Candidates must have 24 semester credit hours in accounting, auditing, and / or taxation courses.
Duties Description Duties included, but not limited to :
- Prepare and / or Review Financial Statements for issuance to Agency program units.
- Finalize billings for the various program units within the agency.
- Administer the credit card program for the Agency.
- Responsible for quarterly and annual reports to the State Comptroller’s Office.
- Enter, Review and Approve journal entries entered into SFS.
- Run reports from SFS.
- Assist in maintaining and updating unit policy and procedures.
- Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
- Accounts Receivables
- Sole Custody Accounts
- Financial Reporting
- E-Licensing
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
