Job Summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking an experienced and talented professional to join our Learning and Development team to serve as the primary administrator for our Learning Management System (LMS) at our corporate headquarters in Brentwood, TN.

This is a great hybrid opportunity! In this role the administrator will oversee the installation of all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and software integrated with the LMS.

The administrator will provide technical leadership in the support of SpecialtyCare’s LMS including implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions.

Administer and maintain the LMS. Modify course configurations and additions in the course catalog.Review, upload, and test training courses and videos.

Manage the resolution of all issues of end users and stakeholders including troubleshooting, tracking issues and reporting on trends.

Maintain the learning management certificates meeting regulatory requirements and remain in a validated state.Build tests, assessments, surveys, evaluations within the LMS.

Responsible for system maintenance, upgrades and future functionality.Support technical integrations between the LMS and other systems.

Maintain and assign roles, securities, and permissions.Manage users and users / student groups and course assignments.Monitor internal systems notifications.

  • Support orientations and trainings across modalities (live, virtual, etc.) ensuring efficiency and goal achievement.
  • Track completed training and cross-training for service lines.
  • Support set-up, record, and webinar facilitation such as audience participation and interactivity through live Q & A.
  • Create and manage ongoing virtual classroom sessions and assignments as needed for clinical and corporate training needs.
  • Assist in developing engaging electronic courses by creating graphics and animations to reinforce critical concepts, enhance transfer of knowledge, and aid knowledge retention.
  • Contribute to the design and development of multimedia learning content, including online self-study modules, instructional videos, presentations, activity guides, and job aids.
  • Design and develop curriculum, programs, learning materials, and collateral based on industry design standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Coursework and / or certifications relating to learning management system administration, preferred

Experience :

  • Three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical skills including understanding of directory, file structures, and systems.
  • A portfolio or demonstrable work products that highlight a diverse breath of e-learning course development projects.
  • Social media or knowledge management experience, preferred.
  • Familiarity with course design and development, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies, such as HTML, preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
  • Ability to provide Tier 2 support for employees, contractors, and external learners, monitoring and resolving support issues.
  • Able to manage a large and diverse number of technical tasks and issues with tact and persistence.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for the purpose of documentation development, editing and communication.
  • Able to developing alternative plans when faced with obstacles or setbacks.
  • Highly detail oriented, self-motivated and self-managed.
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in order to support and maintain quality Learning & Development outputs.
