Responsibilities of a Quality Control Chemist :

• Product service and maintenance in cooperation with assigned team and QC global : Consideration of the environment and occupational safety throughout job functions, Low loss / low emissions, Optimization of formulations, Optimal applications engineering, Proper maintenance of QC cards and samples, Proper testing of the product to ensure conformance to defined specifications to include new material and recertification.
• Immediate and effective handling of customer complaints in coordination with the sales team and all relevant departments (local and global).
• Utilizes provided tools and techniques to perform comprehensive mixing and matching of paints and coatings based on formulas, samples, and customer requests.
• Prepares and tests color technologies and methods, determines the degree of color match and makes proper adjustments.
• Reviews and compares preliminary mixtures with desired product color, texture, and finish, and performs appropriate adjustments.
• Completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding the color mixing / matching process, tasks, results, and conclusions;

determines results and receives direction when required.

• Maintains a clean and safe environment by cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, rooms, and the general area in accordance with the 5S principles.
• This position also involves the quality process - from internal quality checks to resolving quality in compliance with the AS9100 Quality System.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree required in Chemistry or other related fields.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
