POSITION SUMMARY
Provides leadership and management for the commercial banking loan assistant team that consistently delivers the Landmark National Bank promise that Everyone starts as a customer and leaves as a friend.
Holds team accountable for service and performance standards, and provides necessary supervision, training, coaching and development to support team success.
Works closely with team, other bank divisions, and bank leadership to develop, monitor, and achieve goals.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU POSSESS
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience
- Skills necessary to work independently
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment
- Previous banking experience with extensive exposure to commercial banking and loan documentation
- Strong organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and ability to learn and use proprietary software
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
- Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written communication
- Proficient in in Microsoft Office applications including Work, Excel and Outlook
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Plans, organizes, schedules, supervises, and evaluates the work of associates within the department.
- Recommends selection of assigned staff and for the training and professional development. Supervision of staff engaged in commercial loan origination and servicing support.
Development and execution of training plans for new hires.
Customer Experience Lead team to balance the technical demands of the positon while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering an exception customer experience.
Lead team to serve as the main point of contact for commercial customers on a day-to-day basis, solving customer issues promptly with accuracy and ensuring a seamless, positive interaction.
While being involved in the development of internal policies and procedures, acting as the voice of the customer to ensure their needs and concerns are prioritized.
Gather input from team members and customers alike to constantly improve the manner in which Landmark interacts with customers.
Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the team to implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage and adapt to changes in banking procedures, systems, and technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Communication Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and effective communication.
Communicate with internal partners to understand upcoming changes in technology, process or policy; and in turn, proactively keeping your team informed.
Clearly communicating priorities within the team as a whole and for each individual team member to accomplish immediate demands and long term goals.
Effectively communicate needs of the team to Executive leadership to accomplish agreed upon tasks and goals.
- Provide training and guidance to Commercial Banking Assistants in all areas of loan documentation including business entity organizational and financial documents, assistance in preparation of loan approval packages, preparation of loan document requests, and monitoring ongoing documentation requirements.
- Responsible for training Commercial Banking Assistants to ensure compliance with all new and existing regulatory requirements.
- Develops annual goals for the Commercial Banking Assistants.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop your team of associates utilizing the Quarterly Job Progress Plan.
- Manage your professional improvement through the utilization of the Quarterly Job Progress Plan.
- Responsible for performance counseling, including making and recommending disciplinary action decisions.
- Utilize prescribed hiring process to select team members.
- Engage in and initiate Landmark National Bank Culture initiatives and team success activities.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
