Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center - Opening in 2025!
When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years! This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital, and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8.
This clinical integration will establish a robust system of care for all District residents, ensuring residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high-quality care in their community.
This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices, clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transports.
We are seeking a Receiving Coordinator responsible for ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, facilitating a smooth flow of supplies into the department.
- Ensure that all warehouse items are received and placed in the correct locations in the storeroom to maintain the integrity of the storeroom perpetual inventory.
- Respond promptly and courteously to the supply needs of customers.
- Ensure that all receipts are entered into the Materials Management system and filed appropriately daily, including the management of the Receiving Report and Receiving checklist.
- Coordinate and direct workflow between Supply Chain Operations, Dietary, and Environmental Services to increase operational efficiencies in the delivery of supplies and services to the Hospital.
- Coordinate and direct the workflow in the Receiving department, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure the Loading Dock is maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
Qualifications
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills :
- Previous experience in the distribution of medical supplies preferred.
- Prior experience driving delivery and / or medical transport preferred.
License / Certification :
Valid Driver's License required.
