Job Description
The Medical Billing Coordinator reviews unbilled reports and evaluates accounts to determine reasons for accounts in unbilled status.
Resolve coding issues that do not allow accounts to be billed accurately. Responds to inquiries from internal departments related to resolution of coding or other issues to bill accounts.

- Ability to utilize billing / coding and insurance office skills.

- Good overall knowledge of Health Information Systems practices, procedures and guidelines.

Required Experience
Work Experience : One year of experience in patient billing or coding in a clinical setting.

None
Education and Training
High School graduate or equivalent.
