Responsibilities include performing clinical and clerical duties required to handle the day-to-day functioning of our clinic, including patient histories, workups, and comprehensive diagnostic testing.

Must be able to accurately perform clinical eye tonometry, visual field testing, A scan, and B scan ultrasonography.

Other duties include preparing patients for treatment and assisting with laser operations and injections. The ideal candidate must also be able to briefly counsel patients by providing information about treatment, using drops / drugs, and answering questions about surgery.

Minimum Qualifications :

Ophthalmology experience of at least two years is preferred.

COA / COT certification preferred.

Effective written and oral communication skills are a must; prior experience scribing is highly preferred!

The ability to work independently with minimal guidance as needed and work well under pressure.

Open to change and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
