Are you mechanically inclined and eager to start a fulfilling career in a thriving machine shop? Look no further! Malone Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated individual for a 1st shift Entry-Level Machine Shop Operator.
Starting pay is $18 / hr and a great location!
Responsibilities :
- Operate machinery under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Assist with the production and assembly of machine parts.
- Utilize hand-held tools and change drill bits as needed.
- Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 40lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Job requirements :
- Must be able to use a tape measure and change drill bits.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read a tape measure down to a 16th of an inch and take a tape measure test.
- Previous experience in a machine shop preferred but not necessary.
