Part-time Substitute Dance Teacher - Apopka, FL

Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced substitute dance teacher to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at Kidzdance.

Our growing studio in Apopka, Florida focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community.

Substitute teachers will be contacted when there is a deficit in a main teacher's schedule but consistency is appreciated by both students and school staff, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach multiple styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical / contemporary, hip hop, and acro tumbling as well as open availability on weekday afternoon / evenings.

Responsibilities :

• Instructing students in dance techniques across various skill levels, beginner through advanced (ages 4-15).
• Strong background in various styles of dance, tumbling and gymnastics experience not required but a plus.
• Implementing lesson plans for strength, flexibility, and love of dance, tailored to individual and group needs.
• Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, punctuality, enthusiasm, friendliness, patience, and leadership.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a routine background check

Preferred Qualifications :

• Energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to the art of teaching dance.
• Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
