As our Construction Laborer you will :

• Be responsible for leading and performing various tasks to aid daily operations at our construction sites
• Collaborate with some of the hardest-working professionals in the industry and contribute to the overall project success

Key responsibilities include :

• Some reporting responsibilities
• Completing the punch list process
• Cleaning and preparing construction sites
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures
• Digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling trenches / holes
• Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
• Assisting skilled tradesmen in their duties
• Responsible for daily jobsite clean-up
• Ensure safe work environment
• Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and suppliers / vendors
• Other maintenance duties that arise

Position Requirements :

• Working knowledge of general labor skills
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in general labor
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift heavy equipment

An employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical field environment with an above standard level of noise.

Occasional standing, bending, walking, and lifting is also required. The employee will be required to visit multiple construction job sites, which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

In addition, the employee must be able to move around prospective or current project sites. This includes climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, walking long distances, and climbing stairs.
