We’re looking to hire a Desktop Technician for a Financial client.
This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role is located in San Francisco, CA and fully onsite.
Onward Search is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All contractors will be paid as W2 employees.
Desktop Technician
- Provide executive-level support for computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Document, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems as necessary.
- Manage user account information, including security, permissions, and system groups.
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to LAN / WAN connectivity, operating systems, and provide end-user support for LAN-based applications.
- Recommend and coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Install and configure workstations for optimal performance.
- Requires 4-6 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Must have Bloomberg & Aladdin software experience.

- To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
