Position Overview : They are seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, excellent litigation skills, and a passion for advocating for clients in a variety of construction-related disputes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in construction litigation cases, including contract disputes, project delays, defect claims, and compliance issues.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Manage cases from inception through trial, including pre-trial preparation and post-trial motions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on construction-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in construction law and litigation trends.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in California.
- 2-7 years of experience in construction litigation or related areas, ideally litigation and transactional experience but can have only construction litigation.
- Strong understanding of construction law and industry practices.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex litigation cases and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
