Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Cloud Engineer Lead. This position will be located in Ft Liberty Fayetteville, NCand will be an onsiteposition.

Responsibilities

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Company products; investigates the technical capabilities of Company products and competing equipment and / or solutions;

stays abreast of developments in hardware and software. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and ensures requirements comply through formal verification methods.

Translates high level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements.

Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the network and system development.

Designs interfaces and brings network and system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.

Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements.

• The Cloud Engineering Task Lead is responsible for cloud systems plans and strategy; design, development, and deployment of applications into a cloud or hybrid cloud.
• Implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing.
• Architecting and leading the development and integration of cloud- based information and computer systems that meet specific needs.
• Accountable for the end-to-end cloud deployment experience, from concept development to deployment

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience :

1. A minimum of five years of experience supporting cloud architecture design,development, implementation, and maintenance.

2. A minimum of five years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Software as a Service (SaaS).

3. A minimum of three years of experience utilizing Agile development methodologiesand Application Lifecycle Management.4.

A minimum of two years of experience developing cloud system plans and strategy.5. A minimum of three years of experience designing, developing, and deployingapplications into a cloud or hybrid cloud environment.

6. A minimum of one cloud professional certification.7. Knowledge of providing executive-level technical briefings and presentations tosenior personnel in a SOF organization.

Clearance Required : TS / SCI eligibleDesired Qualifications : 1. A minimum of one year of experience with one of the large cloud-computinginfrastructure solutions.

2. A bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) focus area.3. One or more ITIL certifications.4. Multiple cloud related professional certifications, such as Professional CloudSolutions Architect (PCSA) and AWS Solutions Architect.

5. Knowledge of, and minimum of three years of experience working with,programming languages Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig / Hive, andElixir.
