The Marketing Associate works collaboratively with all members of the marketing team. The position will represent East Tennessee Children’s Hospital at external events and assist with administration efforts for advertising, marketing, and community relations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Supervisory Responsibilities : No
Minimum Education : Bachelor's Degree preferred
License / Certification Required : None
Minimum Work Experience : 2 years of experience with a primary focus in marketing and may also include events, sales, public relations, community relations, and / or advertising
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external audiences and represent East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in the community.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple stakeholders and projects
- Basic understanding of advertising mediums
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Strong experience using Canva and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred knowledge : Workday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in the planning and implementation of communication efforts and events, including but not limited to : health fairs, seminars, outreach events, chamber activities, open house, and other hospital events.
- Coordinates with external advertising partners to provide campaign assets and schedules
- Receives, codes, and processes advertising invoices
- Writes and distributes traffic reports for radio, TV, and digital advertising partners
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders to place advertising efforts in a timely manner
- Maintain branded merchandise inventory
- Ability to effectively manage several projects at once. Prioritizes projects by team needs rather than individual workload as identified.
- Willingly accepts any other assignment that may be requested.
- Utilizes hospital resources and time respectfully and accountably.
- Work closely with the marketing manager and graphic design team to help gather information from other departments to help the team accomplish projects efficiently
- Build / polish presentations for the Director of Marketing and VP team in Canva and PowerPoint.
- Works with the marketing manager on signage and communication as needed on the main campus and other locations for the organization.
- Works closely with the communication coordinator for all administrative needs for marketing and community (relations) benefit departments
